I'm just rating you as a 4 because this is the first time I'm using your service I don't know much about security and malware and any other security you or any other Anti virus companies talk about when you talk about security. I'm computer literate and I don't hide it. I have been using Avast and I wasn't happy with them so here I am. I have a lot of personal things in my computer and it keeps telling me someone else using my IP address and I myself don't know what is so maybe you can help me to get rid of whom ever is hacking me for the 8th time you can help me and if this happens I will give you a 5 star rating.

I have only used Total AV for about 3 months and my usage has been reasonably light in that time, however I have found it very effective in use and like its on screen style. There is much that it is able to do that I have not yet used. I will get round to it and then it may well be 5 stars. Good buy.

So far so good, clean simple to use and appears to be quite thorough in its functions. Scans surprisingly fast.

My Computer was hacked this week

I am 63 years old and have a diagnosis of early onset alzeimers. I was hacked this week and clever hackers said they were from my internet provider BT
and made me so alarmed that I let them access my computer and installed anydesk which after keeping me on the phone for hours ended in them hacking my bank account. I have just installed any desk but you state elements could not be deleted and to try and delete them manually. If you can't do this - but I have no idea how to do this either? Can you help me with this
I wish that maybe for vulnerable people like myself that that an alert could be put on any (unlikely) security software seen being installed that is suspect? Thankyou. PS If you can help? I am still in my first year with total AV...Vis Mere

When I signed up I was led to believe I could cover two CPUs with my license ... which I have done. Now I get a bill for $20. What's the problem?

There's only one annoying thing: If you pick a country for the VPN and it doesn't connect, you get a notice, but then you are literally handcuffed by it, as there are zero options for you to pick another. Even of you close the program and re-open it, choosing the VPN setting again, just takes you back to the same waiting, circling, round and round forever display, unconnected to whatever country you chose, with no options nor anyway of knowing that that one wasn't going to workout.
So then you have to restart the computer to get out of this endless loop of waiting for nothing.
For such a well working and almost perfect program, it's seems a shame that this little tiny hick-up has been over looked.
